Himalayan Hashish Cannabinoid Study

⚗️ Science First mentioned: Ep. 259

First university study from India analyzing 58 samples of hand-rubbed charas from 20 regions of the northwest Himalayas, revealing extraordinary cannabinoid diversity including a sample with 30.6 percent CBC and only 2.5 percent THC, the highest naturally occurring CBC in hashish ever documented.

Published as phytocannabinoid profile and potency study. Found two main potency classes. Sample R17 number 53 had 30.6 percent CBC with only 2.58 percent total THC - unprecedented rare cannabinoid profile. Another had 8 percent CBDV. Some samples reached 60-78 percent total cannabinoids in hand-rubbed form. Study tested 10 cannabinoids but missed THCVA and some acid forms. Key data hidden in supplemental table S2 of a toxicology report. Sent to Bubbleman by Angus of Real Seed Company.
