// Definition
A 14-minute US Department of Agriculture film from 1942 encouraging American farmers to grow hemp for the war effort. The film was later effectively purged from the Library of Congress catalog, and its existence was denied by prohibitionists until activist Jack Herer physically located the microfilm entries and forced the Library to re-catalog it.
// From the Episode
Bubbleman told the story of a reporter calling Jack Herer's reference to the film a fake because the Library of Congress had no record. Herer traveled to DC, couldn't find it in the catalog, then had the idea to search older book records where he found two entries. He photocopied them and resubmitted the film to the Library.
