Sam described a time when you could buy a mediocre hash in 1971 at known prices. Seeds were the primary propagation method as cloning was not yet widespread. All weed had seeds in it during this era. Sam threw seeds out his window as a youth, not knowing their value. The transition from imported landrace hash to domestic hybrid cultivation fundamentally changed the market.
