Cannabis Oil Dosing & Self-Titration

🩺 Medicine First mentioned: Ep. 093

When Canadian doctors prescribed cannabis oil under MMPR, they frequently told patients they couldn't help with dosing, drug interactions, or titration, leaving parents of epileptic children to figure out administration on their own. Alexander Rety's doctor explicitly said he would write the prescription but couldn't provide any guidance on use.

Highlights the gap between legal access and medical knowledge. Doctors lacked training on cannabinoid medicine. Neurologists actively discouraged cannabis use. Parents had to become their own researchers and advocates.
