Air Drying Hash

๐Ÿ’ง Extraction First mentioned: Ep. 210

The traditional method of drying bubble hash by spreading it on racks or cardboard at controlled cool temperatures just above freezing, allowing trichome heads to naturally congeal and residual moisture to evaporate over time.

Major topic of debate in this episode. Jenn Doe (SPEAKER_01) argued air drying is a lost art that forces hash makers to evaluate melt quality by touch. Colin Palmer called it 'the art form every young hash maker should start with' and the basis for understanding freeze drying. Bubbleman praised the superior photography and visual qualities of air-dried hash, noting trichome heads congeal beautifully. John Hatch's air-dried death bubba hash was showcased as exemplary โ€” perfect powder at 32F that congeals to glass at room temperature.
