Tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THCP) is a synthetic cannabinoid with a 7-carbon alkyl side chain (vs THC's 5-carbon chain) that produces dramatically stronger effects than delta-9 THC. Skunkman Sam's firsthand experience with 1 gram of pure synthetic THCP via dabbing resulted in loss of motor function - he could walk only by holding onto walls.

Sam described it as a creeper with slow onset but extremely long duration. The high reminded him more of 11-hydroxy-THC (the metabolite from oral THC) than smoked THC. He reported that without terpenes, pure THCP is not immediate but builds gradually. Many American THCP products are suspected to actually contain delta-8 THC due to poor purification.
