// Definition
The earliest known water-based cannabis resin separation method, developed by Sadu Sam around 1987. The technique used water to separate glandular trichomes from plant material based on their oleophilic, hydrophobic properties.
// From the Episode
Discussed extensively in the water hash history segment. Neville Schoenmakers knew about Sadu Sam's water extraction. The principle was that glandular trichomes could be separated using cold water, which led to all subsequent bag-based water hash systems. The Isolator bags came 11 years after Sadu Sam's original work.
