// Definition
A cultivation technique where a cannabis plant is harvested by picking buds while preserving the root system and lower growth, then returned to vegetative lighting to regrow and flower again. Can be repeated multiple times, though yields diminish with each cycle.
// From the Episode
Bubbleman asks Tony about double flowering: 'You ever did the double flowering where you like actually cut down two-thirds of the plant and then you like veg it out again and then flower it again?' Tony responds enthusiastically: 'Oh my god, dude. Like so many times. I'm doing it right now with a plant that's actually flowering for its third time.' Todd cautions that 're-vegging does not save you time' and creates 'a genetic memory in the plant' where 'the flowers are never as spectacular' on subsequent runs, with yields getting 'smaller and smaller and punier and punier because the root ball isn't going to be able to maintain.' Tony notes it's valuable for saving genetics: 'it's a great way to save genetics if you don't have clones of them and you've already flowered it.'
