CBN from Hookah Residue

🩺 Medicine First mentioned: Ep. 231

The practice of collecting residual resin from hookah sessions smoking live hash rosin, which converts primarily to CBN (cannabinol) through heat degradation, and using this sedative cannabinoid-rich material in oil capsules as a sleep aid.

South African guild member Matt described a session at Cradle Farms where they smoked Frenchy Canoli-style live rosin temple balls in a glass-head hookah with coconut coals for over an hour. The residual black tar resin was collected and identified as primarily CBN based on Frenchy's own explanation that he gave this material to patients for sleep. Matt added it to whole-plant infusion oil capsules with raw THCA to enhance their sleep-inducing properties.
