Bamboo Steam Chalice

A traditional Jamaican Rastafarian smoking device made from bamboo, using water vapor (steam) to cool and deliver cannabis smoke. Some versions reach six feet in length and use a clay koochie (bowl) on top.

Bubbleman describes hitting a giant bamboo steam chalice at the Stepping High Festival โ€” Rastas were carrying six-foot-long bamboo steam chalices. He also mentions his friend Caleb from the Itel steam vapor chalice company, who makes modern clay versions. Bubbleman describes using the clay koochie (bowl) placed on top, with herb layered inside. He was steaming for an hour and a half.
